3 March Paraty
Internet access has been difficult – we did notknow until today that the previous entry had even been successful.
Our lorry is going to be interesting -it is quite old but the engine seems reliable!! (so far), The rest of the group are mainly young although there are a couple of ladies of our age who have been on the road for 7 months and still have 5 months to go. Apart from a couple of the youngsters we are certainly the least travelled.
We are now in Paraty have camped 2 nights with one more here before we head off for or first bush camp. The weather has been almost unbearably hot and humid and the mossies are hungry, Yesterday we went on a yacht cruise around the islands which was very pleasant and relaxing.
