27 December – Fairford
Christmas was a time of great joy at The Nook. Jenny, Mark, Bethany, Callum, James, Jon, Martin, Louise and Lucy all came to stay. Jess joined us on Boxing Day evening although some of the others had left by then. Before Christmas, Bethany helped Grandpa to wash his car as well as playing in the garden. She also enjoyed Carols around the Crib at St Mary’s Church. 
Christmas Day dawned with everyone enjoying a leisurely breakfast before opening some of the many presents. Bethany and Callum certainly had a good time although Callum thought the wrapping paper was best.
It was a lovely couple of days. The grandchildren (and grown ups) were all so well behaved!
