28 May 2013 – Fairford
Jenny, Bethany, Callum and Elsie visited for the day today (Poor old Mark had to be at work). We had a lovely time with a couple of sessions playing indoors with cars and little people as well as Grandpa’s trains. Callum was left on his own at one stage – a tribute to his care and patience when controlling 4 trains at a time. Elsie also sat with Grandpa for about 30 minutes just watching and making comment about the different trains. After a lovely lunch – a typical Annie spread – which was enjoyed by adult and child alike we visited the park at Quenington but the onset of rain curtailed our time there. Nevertheless, the afternoon also saw most of the family exercising.
The exception was Elsie who decided a nap on the floor was the best thing. 
Tea, baths and TV followed before Jenny took some tired children back home.
We had a truly wonderful time.
